Es Pagos - Mansion with land
Description
The mansion “Es Pagos” is a typical property in Majorcan style, situated in the center of the island of Majorca, about 38 Km from Palma, in the municipal area of Porreres and San Juan.
The core area of the mansion belongs to the houses of the lords, strategically situated on a mound that dominates the whole property:
The houses, stables and stores are built in the typical architecture of Majorca.
From its central patio you will reach the owners’ houses, in two wings, as well as the servants and farmers adjoining building in another wing. The total surface of this side is of approximately 4.789 m² including:

– Cellar in basement
– Granary above the cellar
– Chapel
– Cow stable, poultry coop and pigsty
– Garages
Until the XIX century “Es Pagos” was a farm house which basically cultivated grape-vine and manufactured wine counting on 17 oak barrels, with a capacity of 2.000 hectoliter.
The cultivation and production of cereals needed also a huge piece of land. The harvest was stored in the granary above the cellar.
Until the year 1998 a church service was celebrated every Sunday during the summer time.
