Description
This single-vineyard is located in a premium and gorgeous situation. The estate has 200 hectares and the vineyards cover 140 hectares, with centenary olives trees for the home-made production of our oils, and a great hunting estate with exceptional partridges.
The varieties that will be grown for whites are: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Albariño and small-grain Muscat.
And for the reds: Merlot, Shyrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Malbec.
Its wines have been the most awarded during 2008 and 2009, and won 31 gold medals at the most prestigious International Competitions, such as Brussels, Canada, Mundus Vini, Russia, etc.., and this Winery has been chosen as one of the 100 best wineries of the world during 2008 and 2009 by the DECANTER magazine in UK (the most prestigious wine magazine in the world).
The Winery will be declared during 2011 year a Single-Vineyard Winery. This recognises the maximum expression of quality of a Spanish Winery, only compared to the French Châteaus in Burdeos. There are only 8 Single-Vineyard Spanish Wineries; therefore this will be the ninth one.
The charming Hotel with 12 guest rooms, which have been furnished in the best quality, enjoys a fantastic reputation, not only while charming but also because of its gastronomic offer. Its Restaurant, with capacity for over 300 people for any kind of events, is being directed by Javier Luariz-Ayerdi, who has been an Arzak’s disciple during 3 years (Jose Mari Arzak is an awarded top Chef with 3 Michelin stars). The winery and the Hotel have been recommended by the Michelin Guide with a 4 red hotels qualification which only other 24 hotels of Spain have the same distinction.
Important
We would also like to inform you that in the property can be set up a wind and electric energy generator park, as it has already been made a huge investment to provide to the Winery with the cable installation of 4 kms. to the Central Electric Station (IBERDROLA) to be able to evacuate the electric and wind energy produced. This could have a profitability of the 12 – 17 %.

The production capacity of the Winery is around 1.750.000 bottles yearly, only with its 140 vineyards hectares, and could be increased by acquiring wine from other producers of the region.
The Winery is made up with the most technical advances, with manual and mechanical winemaking facilities, refrigerated chambers, french bottle-ageing and cask-ageing hall. The production capacity of the Winery arises 1.300.00 litres. A pond of 250 million of litres has been built for the vineyards irrigation as well.

This Winery is the unique Spanish Winery that has got benefits during the first two years of commercialization, even in 2009 the exportation increased a 37% from the previous year 2008 and the benefits have been higher.
In 2009 the EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) was of Euro 1.508.971 and during the first quarter 2010 the exportation increased 270% compared with the same time of 2009. Therefore, for this year the EBITDA is expected to be superior to 2 Million euros.
