Description
Manor house with easy access approx. 10 min by car from Esporles, Mallorca. The estate has south orientation and is situated half way up a mountain, the terrain around the property being quite flat. There are hardly any buildings in the vicinity, so the eye sees mostly fields, woods and mountains. The views down the valley are quite spectacular, and on a good day one can see the sea.
The finca dates from the 17th century, but there are older parts, for example the defence tower from Roman or Moorish times. There are several terraces around the main building, moreover a pool (15×6 m) with panoramic views and a tennis court. The estate is inhabited and in pretty good condition, nevertheless some renovation work needs to be done.
The actual living area is an estimated 700 m², plus the grand courtyard, a chapel, the basement, storerooms, an antique oil mill, stables, garage, etc. The total built area is approx. 1400 m². It could be split into five independent dwellings of 100-250 m² per unit.
Thanks to the new law for “Agri-Turismo”, the entire complex can be converted into a hotel with around 50 seats (see BOIB -Butlletin Oficial de les Illes Balears from July 16, 2020).
